ANNUAL ECONOMIC GROWTH OF 11.1% IN QUINTANA ROO
The Riviera Maya belongs to the state of Quintana Roo, which in the last 5 years has ranked as the state with the highest economic growth nationwide. During the third quarter of 2022, economic activity showed an annual advance of 3.13%, much higher than that of the rest of the country, as shown in the graph.
In the first quarter of 2023, the states of Quintana Roo, Oaxaca and Baja California Sur lead the list of the states with the highest growth with accumulated annual increases in their activity of 11.1%, 9.0% and 8.3%, respectively.
